Very well.

The year wasn't a good year. After Ineroth and Thorn were reunited, the consciousnesses didn't really meld initially. They were too different. Thorn was frightened and didn't know how to control the demon, and Ineroth took full advantage of that.

He came to you pretending to be Thorn, because now he could look like Thorn. He deceived you and attempted to consume you. You, of course, figured it out at the last moment.

The rest of the year was spent with Ineroth playing these games to mess with your head. But you didn't give up hope that you could find Thorn's soul. I think the fact that Ineroth appeared as Thorn is what drove you to believe Thorn's spirit was still present and salvageable.

i have this friend who told me you'd do it. that all demons would. he's not wrong.

how did i get back to anna? the last thing i remember is ineroth taking you. i could feel your magic pushing me away, and then i woke up here and got like two full years of memories from my last time here. it was a lot and it makes my memories confused

but i know the last thing i knew in my present was losing you.

Anna was reaching for you. Her and Doe. They were the ones helping pull us out of Hell when Ineroth found us.

Honestly, if it weren't for Thorn Ineroth might have gotten you in that in between....

But yes. Instead of waking here, you would have woken at home with Anna and Doe.

You taught us how to teleport. Ineroth had the power to apply that interdimensionally.

so taking you was enough. i was afraid of that, that if he took your power then he wouldn't need mine to reach my world

it makes sense, now. if you were always a part of him, his power base wouldn't have been complete without you

When Ineroth siphoned me away, he didn't realize he'd siphoned off that new power with me. Uniting us again did give him most everything he wanted.

Well I am still a demon prince and the living embodiment of gluttony. I can't just abandon Hell. The chaos and fallout would be disastrous for everyone.

So... learning to be the new me and keeping my realm of Hell under control.

I suppose I could go back to Hell and stay there...

I mean I do visit you regularly. I thought you were implying that was the temptation? Being around you and other witches?
